Scope of Application

This policy applies to the SCANDIC brand ecosystem, in particular to:

A. Interpretation of Risk Warning

All terms used in this risk warning have the same meaning as in the Terms of Use. This warning provides a general description of significant risks but is not exhaustive. It does not replace individual legal, tax, or investment advice. You should fully understand all risks before using our services.

B. Specific Risk Categories

Market and Volatility Risk

The price of SNC may be subject to significant fluctuations due to supply and demand, regulatory changes, technological advances, or macroeconomic developments. Speculative behaviour can also cause short-term price swings. Investors should bear in mind that the market value can both rise and fall.

Regulatory Risk

Regulation of crypto assets is changing worldwide. New laws may restrict use, trading or issuance. Although SNC is a utility token, stricter requirements (e.g., registration, reporting) could be imposed. We monitor developments but delays or additional costs may occur.

Technological Risk

Technical infrastructure is based on software which may contain errors. Smart contracts could have vulnerabilities leading to unwanted transfers or asset loss. Blockchain infrastructure risks (51% attacks, DDoS) exist. We employ auditors and security standards, but residual risk remains.

Operational Risk

Operational risks include failures, network disruptions, human error, or inadequate controls. We use redundant data centers and backup systems to minimize these risks.
