Applicability in the brand ecosystem:
These community rules apply to the SCANDIC brand ecosystem, in particular to the following brands and services:
as well as for all structures held or supported by SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED.
1. Purpose and scope of the community rules
These community rules set out the binding principles of conduct for all online and communication platforms of SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED and the SCANDIC brand ecosystem. They apply in particular, but not exclusively, to the following areas:
- Discussion forums, comment sections and rating functions
- Social media and all profiles operated by SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED
- Support and help areas, ticket and chat systems
- Webinars, virtual events and other digital formats
- All other digital communication tools that users can use to interact with each other or with SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED.
The aim of these rules is to create a respectful, safe, transparent and legally compliant space in which all users can share their opinions and experiences without fear of insults, discrimination, fraud, manipulation or other harmful behaviour.
2. Basic principles of interaction within the community
The following basic principles govern all interactions within the SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED community:
- Respect: Every person must be treated with respect, regardless of their origin, language, religion, ideology, gender, sexual orientation, age, financial situation, political views or other characteristics.
- Sense of responsibility: Contributions should be factual, honest and carefully worded. Unconfirmed rumours, deliberate misinformation or misleading content have no place in the community.
- Transparency: Personal interests, especially economic or business interests, must be disclosed if they are relevant to the assessment of a contribution.
- Safety: The safety of all participants always takes priority. Content that may incite violence, hatred or illegal behaviour is strictly prohibited.
3. Protection of intellectual property
All content created and provided by SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED, its cooperating companies or contracted third parties is protected by copyright or other legal means. This includes, but is not limited to: Logos, trademarks, service marks, layout, texts, graphics, etc.
Users of the community may not use, reproduce, distribute, make publicly available or otherwise exploit any content that is subject to the property rights of third parties or SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED without the prior express written consent of the rights holders. Contributions that give the impression of an official cooperation, partnership or recommendation by SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED or its affiliated companies, even though such a relationship has not been expressly confirmed by SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED, are not permitted.
SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED reserves the right to delete allegedly infringing content at its own discretion without prior notice and to take further legal action if necessary.
4. Abuse, insults, discrimination and harassment
The SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED community should be a safe place for all users. Therefore, the following behaviours in particular are strictly prohibited:
4.1 Threats of violence and incitement to violence
It is prohibited to threaten violence against individuals or groups of people, to trivialise violence or to incite violence.
4.2 Insults and disparagement
Users must not be insulted, mocked or disparaged, either directly or indirectly.
4.3 Discrimination and hate speech
Any form of discrimination is prohibited. This applies in particular to disparaging or exclusionary statements based on: Origin, nationality, ethnicity, Skin colour, Language, Gender, sexual orientation, Religion, Age, disability, Social status, etc.
4.4 Sexual harassment and offensive content
Unwanted sexual advances, ambiguous comments, sexualised images, pornographic content or requests of a sexual nature are strictly prohibited.
4.5 Harassment, stalking and bullying
Persistent harassment, including in the form of repeated messages, hostility or subtle threats, will not be tolerated.
5. Language, expression and manners
Communication within the community should be factual, clear and polite. Therefore, the following principles apply:
- Avoidance of swear words and vulgar language
- Careful choice of words to avoid misunderstandings
- Be open to other opinions expressed respectfully
- Constructive criticism instead of personal attacks.
6. Advertising, promotion and conflicts of interest
The community is not an advertising market. Rules:
- Prohibition of direct advertising: Promoting own products/services is not permitted unless approved.
- Factual information: References to own projects are permitted if relevant, transparent, and not bulk-posted.
- Conflicts of interest: Must be disclosed.
7. Spam, mass posts and disruption of the platform
Prohibited: Repeated posting of identical content, meaningless posts, excessive use of symbols/caps, cross-posting.
8. Fraud, deception and unfair practices
Strictly prohibited: Fraudulent investments, representing false facts, falsifying documents, disseminating false information.
9. Market manipulation, information manipulation and multiple accounts
Prohibited: False statements about financial instruments/tokens, organised campaigns to inflate/deflate reputation, calls to buy/sell without basis, using multiple accounts for false impressions.
10. Illegal content and actions
Strictly prohibited: Offering illegal goods/services, violating criminal laws, inciting criminal offences, money laundering/terrorist financing.
11. Automated use, bots and technical attacks
Not permitted without written permission: Automated posts/messages, systematic reading (scraping), repeated accesses impairing stability. Attacks on infrastructure are prohibited.
12. Plagiarism, source references and third-party copyrights
Respect third-party copyrights. Reproductions must be consented and identified. Direct copying claiming authorship (plagiarism) is not permitted.
13. Protection of personal data and privacy
Users should not post their own sensitive data publicly. Publishing others' data without consent is prohibited. Moderators may remove contact details to protect persons.
14. Reporting system, moderation and cooperation
Report problematic content using designated channels. False reports are violations. Moderators may edit, block, or delete content and warn/ban users.
15. Sanctions for violations of the community rules
SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED may take measures including: Warning, suspension of functions, account suspension, permanent exclusion, legal action.
16. Changes and further development of the community rules
SCANDIC FINANCE GROUP LIMITED reserves the right to amend these rules. Continued use after amendments implies acceptance. Significant changes will be announced.
17. Applicable law and supplementary regulations
These rules supplement general terms. Disputes are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, PRC. Invalid provisions shall be replaced by valid ones closest to the economic purpose.
